International Women’s Day 2026 — Give To Gain
Today, Woodville Alliance proudly stands with the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day, a day to recognise the achievements of women and champion gender equality.
Give To Gain reminds us that when we give support, opportunity, and voice to one another, we all benefit.
This day reflects what we stand for at Woodville — compassion, connection, diversity, social justice, and empathy. These values guide how we listen, act, and ensure fairness for all in Western Sydney.
On this International Women’s Day, let’s reaffirm our commitment to giving, through respect and inclusion to gain a stronger, more equitable community together.

What a fantastic few days away at Stanwell Tops!
Our respite getaway was filled with exploration, laughter and new experiences. From the stunning steps of Nan Tien Temple, to fresh ocean air at the local beach, there was so much to take in. We enjoyed a wander through Dapto Mall, stepped back in time at the Australian Motorlife Museum, and got up close with animals at Symbio Zoo – each day brought something different and exciting.
The weather wasn’t always on our side, but that didn’t stop the fun. A little wind and drizzle only added to the adventure, and spirits stayed high throughout. Our accommodation was comfortable and welcoming – the perfect place to relax, share meals and unwind together after busy days out.
Short term respite provides important benefits. For participants, it’s an opportunity to build independence, develop social skills, try new experiences and strengthen confidence in a supportive environment. For carers and families, it offers valuable time to rest, recharge and attend to their own needs, knowing their loved one is safe, supported.
Everyone had a wonderful time. Smiles, conversations, teamwork and shared moments made this respite truly special.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible support workers who accompanied participants and made the trip safe, smooth and enjoyable for all. Your care and dedication made all the difference.
Here’s to more adventures, connection and community experiences ahead!

Woodville Alliance was proud to welcome Fairfield City Council Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Federal MP Dai Le to our Canley Vale Hub on 19 February.
Joined by client families, Board members and community representatives, it was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our largest and newly refurbished disability services hub — right in the heart of Canley Vale.
Serving the Fairfield, Liverpool and Bankstown LGAs, the Canley Vale Hub provides social and community participation programs in a safe, accessible and welcoming environment. With expansive outdoor areas, four spacious activity rooms including a dedicated sensory room, change rooms with ceiling hoists, and ample undercover drop-off parking, the hub has been purpose-built to support choice, independence and connection.
Programs available include:
• Day programs
• 1:1 community outreach
• After hours programs
• Short term respite
We are proud to be part of the local community and grateful for the support of Fairfield City Council that makes services like this possible.
